Tracy Morgonian Gorgonian XL

So I was aquascaping today and decided to part with this piece due to space and that I have one identical next to it.

It is a called a Tracy Morgonian Gorgonian

This is a photosynthetic Gorgonian and requires no additional feeding. It will pick out food from the water column with its large polyps but IME it's not necessary for survival.

It has over 20 branches and it is attached to a nice piece of coralline covered live rock. Price is $100 OBO

For those of you who don't know about this coral, if you look on the left of the picture you will see what it looks like when the polyps are fully opened.

Additionally, the piece is probably 8" tall by 6" wide and it is encrusted on a 3-4" rock

After some investigative work thanks to Onkar (oh207) I found out the real name of this Gorgonian and it is actually a little more special than I expected. It is called a Tracy Morgonian Gorgonian. It can grow well over 3 feet. Here are some sites to compared it to and I was told Aquarium Village has one as well if you would like to verify that way.

lol it would be out of the water in my tank. It's totally up to OP but if he does frag it I'd be interested in a frag. Fragging it would also spread the coral and get it into more peoples tanks, similar to what happened with Grubbs gorgonian.

Yeah fragging this thing isn't going to happen nor would I want it to go to someone who would hack it up, sorry. And I have given away plenty of frags, including donations at the swap, so I'm sure it's around
