Hello all

Had a question so i have all this cheato in my sump and its filled with cope pods and all kinds of life, i want to transfer them from the sump to main tank.

Good or bad idea?
How would i go about doing that?
Will my fish eat the cope pods or they will survive in the habitat.
By the way the tank is a 105 gallon tank.

The more rock you have the more likely they will populate I your tank , also depends on what and how many fish you have !! Wrasses and mandarins are notorious for kill off of pods !.

As for getting them into the main tank , I would wait for night time to avoid feeding frenzy and I would remove any filter on your return pump and begin shaking chaeto in return chamber so that the pump sucks them into main tank .

Depending on your fish it will most likely get eaten. If not just shake them off. Throw some pot scrubbers in your sump and rotate them in your tank. They can hold a lot of life. With the scrubberw your fish can't attack and eat everything at once. Click on the picture it will lead you to a video.
