Just curious. Why would it matter if he got them for free? Did we take into account that he used gas to and from there, food to keep them alive, his time spent finding and catching them, and nutrients they used in his stem? Isn't this providing a service to his fellow reefers?

Lol because u can literally grab them by the THOUSANDS. Also because they have been know to carry diseases. Ive used them in my tank but just wanted to throw that out there.

Exactly my point, but what is free. Divers, gas, gear for diving, workers, time, lighting and food to keep them after they come out of the ocean. So what is free? i.e I get a Jason Fox piece that is .5 inch. It grows to 5 inches. I cut it and sell it, is it free? Even if I spend $5000 in salt, chemicals, and electricity? Come on guys think before you talk. Its as simple as that. Thanks.

The issue of "locally harvested" snails/ hermits, etc. being collected and sold here has been brought up many times...

Seems there may be a higher chance of introducing disease into an unsuspecting buyer's tank because they are wild caught, as opposed to critters that have been raised in a controlled environment.

I say disclose where the animals come from, and if someone is willing to take their chances, so be it.

I am not sure where he got them from. He did mention he is selling them for a fraction of his cost. On his other thread he said a fraction of what he paid. If he did get it for free its not a fraction of the cost.

The OP put his for sale thread on a public fourm as well. Look through the for sale threads most of them have questions on them. Isn't that why the fs section is set up in a fourm format? If who ever runs the site wants to he can disable comments in the fs section.

Just answering questions from a previous poster, related to the items for sale. And yes this is a public forum, meaning questions can and should be asked about items for sale.

I have nothing against the OP, he never said whether he collected them or bought them. He's not misleading anyone...

thats right... he has abused feedback rating system on this site. According to ssminow81 I "annoyed" him by an offer that I made to him, lol. He never sold the item and I offered my best offer at the time. I was doing him a favor but he turned around and bashed me in pm. read...

So him putting the pm here proves that he commented here on a thread I started in order to troll and cause disturbance. He could have pm'ed me directly with questions but didn't. when he said that I pm'ed him I thought he was reffering to that. Interestingly, I searched his name in my sent folder and nothing came up so I have no idea.

Where did I bash u In pm. I wasn't annoyed over the lowball. I was over the multiple Pm's that u can get it cheaper, it probably died in my tank anyway and that I was lying about other offers.
