I see them 5 inches which I can do but rather a bit smaller
Max reef said end if month they should have them and usually 4 inches
I would never but petco has them online at that size so if they can get them so can places that take care of their fish
yes definitely the colors. the aussie is a much brighter orange and blue and they have purple teeth. But dont get me wrong. you can find some real nice indo looking ones that look like aussie's. i was at aquarium village one day and they had some nice juvenilles that myself or one of the workers could tell the difference.
The only place that I ever saw tiny Aussie Tusk where on LA DD, and they weren't cheap, as they were the same price as a large one. The very small ones do eat but most of them don't make it, so it's probably best to not get one that small, especially for the price that it will cost.
I got a small Aussie Tusk for Max Reef, relativity small compare to the larger size that they usually come in. The best bet is to wait until they get in a large order of them and then just see if there is a smaller one. That's what I did.
I would order from petco online if I couldn't find what I wanted. The fish never enter their stores tank and you get a 15 day guarantee on them.
I looked at the petco site and under the tusk description it says comes from Australia and the Indian Ocean. How do you know you are getting one from Australia?
