Reef or rock

I have a 90 gallon with fish and rock. I cannot decide whether to turn into a reef tank or keep the way it is. Really need help here. Pros and cons

Maybe you can start with the kind of equipment you already have. Sometimes you have to upgrade what you have if you want a reef so the cost may decide for you. Also, the kind of coral you would like to keep is essential to making a decision.

I have coral life t5's as lighting and a sump for filtration. I want to add color to my tank and upgrade light, but first have decide if I want to switch

x2..cons.. way more expensive and way more headaches with things that can wrong...
pro..able to keep many more species of fish only limited by tankmates and tank size...

How many bulbs? If you want to more color in your tank add some zoas, shrooms, leathers and other soft coral. These will add color to your tank without any extra equipment or maintance. It will improve your water quality too,
