Remove it ASAP. If left unchecked bubble algae turns into reef herpes pretty quickly - you'll never be able to get rid of it!

It can be controlled. Dont pop them. Once u start seeing alot of it, i would suggest an emerald crab. They feast on them

Omg thanks for advise.. I thought it was an egg of some sort.. I just took the rock it was on and removed it.. There was actually two of them small one popped and to bigger one came right off then I popped it.. Hope this solves that issue.. Seems whenever I try n do good for tank something turns for the worse lol just bought a new aqua life 6bulb t5 and apex.. Thanks all for the help..

The picture itself looks nothing like bubble algae. Also, they are a lot smaller and you would see multiple bubbles. It would be a deep dark color green. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=bubble+algae

sh*t on me. I guess you could still consider it a "bubble algae".

BTW, when you pop a bubble algae, that's how they spread vs killing them off.
