Just got this from my lfs. Anyone else has the new series jebao dc pump

Jebao DCT vs DC

Fishstreet.com is selling both DCT as well as DC pumps, and I specifically ordered 3 DC pumps, but they sent me DCT. When I asked a guy called Eric at fishstreet.com refused to exchange the items. Worst customer experience ever. So here are the differences between DC and DCT:

DC can be controlled by Neptune Apex controller (after you buy the Apex to Jebao box for $39 from fishstreet.com), But the pump DCT IS NOT CONTROLLABLE BY NEPTUNE APEX CONTROLLER.

DC has 6 speed step levels but the DCT has 10 speed step levels. DC seems to be very famous but the fishstreet.com is pretending as if they are selling DC but they are silently sending out the DCT. Beware of this scandal. So you will buy a DC pump through them but when you open the shipment you will find a DCT.
I ORDERED 3 DC 12000 and I received 3 DCT 12000 and customer service refuses to exchange the DCT's for the DC.

Why didn't you just call your cccompamy and dispute it and send your cc company youremails between the seller sand you.? Simple as that.

I'm going to dispute, I tried to communicate with that customer service guy Eric at fishstreet.com (26 emails back and forth) but he refused to solve the problem. So I will open a dispute at Paypal

Yeah I also never had a problem before with fishstreet.com, and I have ordered from them in the past several times. But this time it is very different. This is the first time they have sent a wrong item. First I thought they accidentally sent me the wrong pump. But later after the conversations with them I found out they sent out the wrong pump knowingly.
It is just wrong. Because I won't be able to control the DCT pump that I received through Neptune Apex controller

I have a dc12000 running on my 57 gallon, got it at a great price over at pop corals, no problems so far. I have it set for a dual return at around 4 feet or so high and moves water nicely. Controller is pretty simple to run without the instructions, nice feature for a water changes. You can put it into feed mode and itll shut the pump off for 10 minutes. Variable speeds which can be versatile towards different size tanks.
