I was talking about this with a friend. Before this hobby I never knew how to plumb pvc or solder (built diy led fixture). Now it feels like I'm in Home Depot or Lowes looking for a new project weekly lol. So my question to you all is what skills have you learn due to this hobby. Maybe share some tips/ experiences.

I still haven't learned to be patient but am working on it.

Built a custom wooden stand for my display tank and frag tank. Really enjoyed it too, will be working on another project this Spring

I have learned to be like a Ninja! I sneak out to my LFS, pick up coral or fish and get home before anybody realized I was gone

work and build led lights, and know how to save life. that is what we are doing with the corals.. chemistry. in my cs I never use computer and test kits. alway use the right instruments and water (rodi) and let the ecosystem a climate to the environment, every tank is diferent believe or not. patient and the most interesting thing is how grateful is own a reef tank or even fresh water. is a underwater world in front of us.
