I think it' a good idea to send in a water sample to see what your system might be lacking or too much of. After all the disputing over iodine that is what I was low in. I have not yet considered any of the other product's that they sell yet. Hope this helps.

I'm definitely going to send in a sample. I was wondering if anyone is also trying the balling method they recommend after testing.

You will know what is needed after you send in your sample if you need more additives. Look at a few other forums there might be more information on what you are asking. Also if you go onto uniquecorals page there are product's listed , or give them a shout and they can assist you.

Extremely skeptical. There are financial agendas being promoted. I see a major lack of results. It is cool to see a breakdown of the elements in your water though.

Send in 2 fresh mixed samples of saltwater. See if your salt mix works for you.
And maybe how honest they are.

talked with them at macna they said they tested a few salt brands and they were high in certain things and lacking in others but wouldnt specify which ones

My tank is currently cycling. Once it does, I will be sending in a sample to be tested. I'll let everyone know the results.
