hi to all..

I'm going on vacation for six day and I won't be able to feed or add more Rodi water to my tank and I don't have a auto top off system. I have a nuvo 8 gallons with 2 8 watts led light, corals are a leather mushrooms, sps, flowerpolyps, and kenya tree. see the pics.. what is the best wait to keep them ok for six day.. I'm thinking to only use 1 led lights 8watts , bring my water level higher possible and bring the salinity to 1.023/024. so when. the evaporation happen the salinity levels do go to high. I have 2 clowns and 1 devil Figi damsels. I think they will be ok for 6 day without food.. b please help.

Do you have a friend you can trust?

If so have a 5 gallon bucket of rodi water for top off ( mark the line on the tank where water should be ) and leave the amount of food you feed to show your friend how much to feed.

Yes I already have all marks in the tank , but trust someone with that tank is hard..lol. no friends. I think they will be fine.

I have an auto feeder for short get aways. use just enough to keep them alive. you can always set up a slow drip for top off. how much water do you loss a week?

Only concern would be water evaporating. Other than that isn't a big ideal. Fish can go without food.

+1 I would worry about not having enough O2 exchange with the tank covered. an ATO would be a great addition to your system and you will appreciate it even when you return from vacation.
