There is no Spring Swap. Neither of our usual venues are available and we have been unable to locate a suitable alternative. If anyone has any realistic alternative venues to explore for the future please forward the info to Admin.

Does reefapolaso have coral? I thought that was a lot of tank vendors and such.

Reefapolaso has nothing to do with MR not having a spring swap. As posted before we lost the place that we were using and we have been unable to locate a suitable alternative.

It's sad to me that Manhattan Reefs has no club meetings in Manhattan & now doesn't even have a bi-annual frag swap. Has anyone made any attempt to find a new venue?

We have never had club meetings, MR was never setup to be a club like that, but LIRA does have monthly meetings and a lot of our members do attend those.
As for the swaps, most place only do one swap per year and we've had been doing 2 swap a year for a very long time. The only reason that we stop doing two was because we were having problems finding a location to have the swap. We are currently looking but because of some of the requirements, including the need to have access the evening before the swap, saltwater on the floor, and location, it's not as easy to find a place as you would think.
We had two places for quite sometime, unfortunately they're not available at the moment.
