I recently obtained a baby Japanese Kidako Eel. It's currently in my QT system, but has not eaten since I've obtained it. I tried feeding everything to no success. I know eels can go weeks/months without eating (my experience with my mature Japanese Dragon Eel). Anyone here can advice any other suggestions? Thanks.

Don?t mind me asking:

Where did you come across a baby or juvenile kidako? And how much did it cost? In my view, thats probably the hardest eel to purchase out of all the exotic eels. I?ve only seen one for sale online at saltwaterfish.com but the picture was not wysiwyg and the price was stupid high. I never seen one in any local shop or even the most popular online stores.

Definitely post pics as I?m interested in seeing her.

I actually had access to them before, but bought a Japanese Dragon Eel (made it through Hurricane Sandy); I still have him. I will try and get a video or pic of it, but I don't want to stress him out.
