Me and Rich already changed the tank all over again. We took out all of the fish (QT tank) Re-aquascaped the whole tank with new and old rock (totally Tonga now). No more hair algae
I started the SPS Pimp back on the road to pimpdom so less frags and cut the colonies. I have some new additions as well (SPS colonies) some mine and some from Mshur's tank on hold...
The Vanderbuilts were in the QT tank and some died early yesterday as I did a water change and the temp went down in the tank, I plugged in a heater which electrocuted them and the rest of the fish. So once again fish losses... Almost all the chromis are gone or on thier way out. For some reason my other fish are doing well and are trying to "KILL" the Vanderbuilts off.
I am going to wait for another month or 2 to start restocking my tank with fish. My Radiant wrasse is doing extremely well while my potters wrasse died from Ich. I am changing some of the equipment around again as I had a mishap that I thought wouldn't happen causing a flood in my room and destroying my wood floors. So off to Lowes for a whole new floor.
I am thinking about upgrading to 400W DE bulbs 20K for the tank in addition to 1x10k T-5 bulb with the existing 2x T-5 actinic bulbs already in the hood. Even though I like the 250W DE Reeflux 12K's I still always liked 400W SE bulbs and would like to test out the DE versions. I always got great color and growth with 400's.
