Here are some pics from my trip to palawan philippines. That is a whale shark we encountered, and the last photo is me coming out of the water after swimming with the whale shark. I was able to touch the shark and he was swimming with me for about 25 minutes it was one of the highlights of my trip.

Nope... no aquarium there... open ocean! It was a feeding dive, there were probably 2 dozen of them swimming around. They're not really interested in you, but they do get close enough to occasionally brush against you.

Palawan is awsome Its better then boracay. I guess Boracay has become to commercial. Palawan is private island that I went to they have their own protected reef. And you get to see tons of beautiful fish. Plus they say they are frequented by plenty of whales at all different times of the year. They also have dugongs or Manatees what ever you want to call them. It is really awsome. I recommend it.

That is pretty awsome. I have done those too. I just dont have and underwater camera. If i can find and enclosure for my Canon Rebel XT 350 D that would be awsome.
