We have a Coral Database which has grown and MR peeps have posted some very nice specimens...is it possible, (server space and all), to have the same with a M.R Fish Database?

Hey Boss, can we do this? Will it work?

Slama, that is a "slamming" idea...I think that would be a great way to share information on our favorite friends and give our fellow members important information on the proper husbandry of our gilled children.

Here is my 2cents on what should be included: Pics (ofcourse), feeding requirements, compatability (with reef and/or other fish), tips/tricks for finicky eaters and maybe a note on those fish that should only be cared for by experienced hobbyists.

I like this idea a lot!

Mr. Blik

OH, one last thought, how about a link or something (FAQ) for triaging sick or fish. Like a DB or common fish diseases or parasites and how to care for them. Just some ideas.....

I thought Morrone was already working on this. It's current location is kind of "behind the scenes" and it's easy to pass by, but I'm pretty sure he's fixing that as well. It's a stickey at the moment in the fish forum. He's done tons of work. Great job.

I'm working on this, the disease part and a couple of other things too. There are a lot more fish than corals so it takes time. It will probably not be in the same form as the coral database as you really need to put fish in specific groups, like tangs, angels, etc. Once it's complete I need to speak with Josh about having it on the front page, similar to the coral database.

After this weekend, once I set up the new tank, I'll be able to finish it.
