Did u try catching w the lights off? Then just use a flashlight slightly.. works well

I’ve read you can you a red led flash light or if you have LEDs you can turn the reds on. Some fish can’t see the red light so might help

I’ve used a regular acclimation box with a clip and nori when it went in just closed the lid

just put the box at an angle caught it in 5 mins

That fish is notorious for being a bully and not just other tangs but other fish too.
