Long Island reef Association is the most active local group. Meetings the first Friday of each month.

Brooklyn aquarium society, meets every second Friday of the month at the New York aquarium in Coney Island right next to the cyclone roller coaster. Last week we had Joe Yaiulllo as a speaker. Rndy from Pratt reef was with him

No but they are very active on facebook. I also recommend coming to check out a meeting. Members can participate in the 50/50 auction and snag some serious deals.
