bulbs for a red sea max 130 d

have an old red sea max i want to use. anyone have some bulbs laying around they seem to be discontinued

Sounds silly but I modified my 65 gallon and put in some LED lights with some DIY you can put any light in there. I put 2 vipar spectras for full coverage. It worked for 5 years but you will have to install a fan also.

any more specifics? i would love to do this but i have limted electrical skills and my wife really likes the look of the stock top so i cant go topless

thanks for this very generous offer. not ready to do the work yet. still deciding which lights i want to use. did you gut the electrical parts or adapt them. how was the result

You just take apart the top and remove the existing fixture and install the new ones. not much electrical has to be done. Wish I had a picture of my old set up.
