Powerhead Placement

Hi al I just got my 2 Hydor Koralia #3's. I am using them in a 65gal tank. what is the best placement for them? I have a finger coral in the tank, and have been trying all day to get the powerheads set so the coral will sway. I'm having absolutely no luck. I have the filter return set in the middle of the tank aiming straight out. The powerheads are on the sides of the tank aiming towards the middle facing each other. This is pissing me off so much help. I know this sounds redicules but I need help with this.

have u tried putting them in the upper back glass corners and aiming them at the middle front glass and see what happens.... just keep trying different spots until ur happy....

If you're looking for a true swaying motion, the only way you'll get it is with a wavemaker alternating the current back and forth in the tank. Although it looks nice, it's not really necessary for a healthy tank. The motion itself is more important than the surge effect.

i had one of my powerhead near the top right back corner blowing across, it creates little waves and keeps the water surface clean
