If this trend continues BK's will be very affordable in the future.

I'm not sure about the build quality of this close, but looking at how the pump sits it doesn't look too good!

I didn't want to say anything, since I had a little (a lot) too much to drink:givebeer:. It looks crooked? I think this is to BK what DAS is to Deltec. Cheaper, built more shitty, and I bet the impeller is different from a BK. Any way you look at it, it has a Red Dragon pump. That's enough for me to say "stay away".
Flame away. But before you do:
Disclaimer: BK is well built and kicks ass and is the best NW skimmer available.

If you had too much too drink and you can still see that it's crooked than it must REALLY be crooked, lol.

Yeah, that's what it looks like.

Any links showing it in operation?

Fritz, it sure does look just like an ATI, just different pumps. Why reinvent the wheel right? lol

Well if you're going to reinvent the wheel at least give it lasers, or a jet engine or something.

These look like ATIs but use inferior pumps. The advertised air draw (with the aquabees) is worse than the same pump pulls on a deltec! They don't use threadwheels or some machined hybrid (where I think the future will be) they use plain needlewheels.

Bah!

The pics are all of the same skimmer. If you look at the descriptions they say:
"1 aquabee 10watt"
"1 aquabee 38watt"
"1 red dragon 28 watt"
"2 aquabee 38watt"

etc.

yeah thats true, they do have red dragons versions but aquarium obsessed is using the same photo for every model I have never seen one in person but i heard they work pretty good. You also have the choice of getting one that uses some sort of "jet system" or a needlewheel. Here is a big thread on them.
