use maxi jet 400 for pump here is the link :

if you can buy this media : PHOSaR HC expensive but the best one .

hope you get it with the ball valve , if not you can but the Barbed-end 1/2" :

you will need also to buy vinyl tube 1/2" for that (there is a lot in HD or you can get it here) :

This is what I'm getting. I was told it's about 1 month old.
1- Phosban Reactor + New Rowa + Tubing + MP 600 Pump

Why do I need a ball valve?

Hi Taat, sounds like you're getting everything you need.:wink1:
Like Crox said, make sure you adjust the flow correctly. Not to much, not to little. The media in the chamber should just shimmy right above the surface, not tumble.
Also make sure you rinse the media well before allowing it to go into your tank water.
I rinse mine by setting it up in my case the sump, and I have the initial discharge water pour out into a bucket until water runs clear. Then I place the discharge/return line back into the sump. Then I make up a little fresh ro/di with salt and add that to the sumpl.
Minnie water change while rinsing phosar, works out just fine.:sgrin:
Let us know if you need anything else, and by the way you don't really need a 600 pump, so if and when your pump should fail any small pump or power head will do.

Well I'm hoping to have the reactor by the end of the week. That and my newly built sump from Custom King are my 2 new toys. Pics to follow of the new sump. Custom King does AWESOME work, can't wait to get everything all hooked up, then eventually upgrade my skimmer to something bigger. OnceI'm ready to get everything running I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questios for all you guys/gals.

The problem is I need ot get my wife and son out of the house so I know I have a few hours to swap out the sumps, and then get the phos reactor set up and running. Then the next thing I'm planning on doing is geting a bigger skimmer.

what you mean it dont need to be rinsed ? ? ? ? last time i checked it does .... and even if it said not to rinse it i would still rinse it cause my tank is worth to much money not to something so simple and avoid another problem

I would check again.........maybe you should read the instructions again.:smash:

See above. Just fill your reactor and you are good to go. I also don't tell my wife half of the stuff that I buy for my tank:biggrin:
