I'm going to be doing a major upgrade this week and decided to listen to Daceman and a few others about how it would be best if a tank would be at eye level. So I took apart a regular aga/perfecto stand and improvised it. By no means done, I wil be adding doors and molding to it tommorow. I increased the height by 10 inches as can be seen in picture standing next to regular height stand. The other pictures are to show the degree of the upgrade, from a 90 gallon to a 140 and moving chiller to the kitchen and having sink replaced to make room for the chiller. I'm moving the chiller to keep it out of the same area were the tank is, this way the chiller exhaust will not contribute to tank temp and my apartment will be cooler (has reached 102) an exhaust fan is a few feet away from new chiller placement. Upside down tank is temp housing. Should be done by friday Night
