GREG SCHEIMERS' Lights..For sale

As a favor to the family, I have taken everything aquarium related out of gregs house and I'm selling it for them. All the money from these sales are going direct to Gregs wife and children. I have all his lights, from his 500 Gallon and some others aswell...

The ones from his 500...are the large fixtures. I do not know what model #. They are sunlight supply. They have a 400w mogul, and 400w HQI in each fixture. There are 4 of these, and they have used bulbs in them aswell. There is a 5th one, that is only a 400w mogul, and has no glass.
They measure 2'x2'x8". I have the ballasts for everything aswell. (only took a pic of single dual bulb fixture).

There are 6 Ice Cap 400w Ballasts, 3 PFO 400w Single ballasts, and 1 Dual 400w PFO ballast. (all pictured)

If I could sell them all as a group, for $1000..or best offer.

Also, another 150w HQI Pendant w/ ballast (brand unknown)...$100 shipped.


PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT GREGS WIFE ABOUT ANY OF THESE. THEY ARE ALL IN MY POSSESSION. THEY HAVE NOTHING LEFT IN THEIR HOUSE OTHER THAN THE 500 GALLON TANK. EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN REMOVED.

Thank you for the post Randy. I'm actually friends with Gregs nephew..so, thats how I wound up helping the family. Its been my pleasure to help out, they are very nice people.

I don't even know what these fixtures are worth, but I think the price sounds fair, or I'll take whatever offers come my way. I just want to get something to the family rather then throwing things out.

LoL. Bump just means bump this thread to the top so more people see it.

I think those are very fair prices for the lights. Just so people are clear, the large fixtures are high quality early luminarc types that Greg reto-fitted a second socket into so he could mix lamp types and spectrums with-in a single fixture. So each fixture is capable of running 2 400W. lamps at the same time!!!!

Can you post fotos of just the 2x150watt HQI ballasts and pendants. Also can you list the messurement of the pendant itself. I have a frag tank but it has limited space above the tank that I would like to put a 150w MH. Let me know, thanks.
