I have had a chance to meet Willie and Alex. I must say, they are both REALLY cool peeps.

They do not deserve to be treated like that. I shop there regularly (once every 2 months or so)but i will join the Boycott and will never go to that store again.

So what's the time and date for the frag meet at 196-33 Northern Blvd ?

I have had my dealings with her also. No racist stuff, but she over charged my credit card once and refused to give me back credit and I had to file a chargeback with mastercard. This was a while ago, don't know why I even waste my time to visit there from time to time, but after this that I read, I am done with FT. :supermad:

No it is not a franchise. Off the subject but kinda funny. One day I was in there and the dad was showing off this big grouper to some teenagers. He was feeding it by hand. all of a sudden water and light fixture went flying. The fish bit him. His hand was all bloody. Anyway, we all now know about F/S . Most of thier fish in my experience do not live very long...

A business name is not purchased nation wide. So you can have more than one in the country with the same name.

Ive had years and years of HORRIBLE experiences there! They have never caled me a racial slur, but also never said Hi. SPecifically the heavy set daughter of the owner, gos out of her way to not make eye contact and pretend like its out first meeting. If you met her father it all makes sense. The owner is the biggest DEUSH BAG on the planet! Sorry for vulgarity but only word which captures his rude personality.

Alot of there workers are now at PETS in New Hyde Park making it beutiful and reasonable, and telling horror stories about that place. I try soooo hard to avoid it but its 5 blocks from my house and next to my bank.

But I must say a cpl of the Kids that they got working there are nice and informative. Just not the owners, manger or any of the old timers.

I've shopped at FishTown for some years now and I must say that I am VERY disappointed to hear this. I'm not surprised though, she's tends to be rude over the phone most of the time I've called. Also, sometimes I see some weird expressions on the employees faces. Well, I wont be taking any trips there anymore (1hr 30min on train and bus). Besides.... Underwater Creations are closer to me being that I relocated. Much nicer people...jejejejejej ! "Stay Cool Dennis"

1 thing. be prepared to be told by the councilman that the owner is never available. because he isnt. but you will need press issues with the councilman to get her into any trouble. she is his daughter. wouldnt you protect your own>? not defending them in any way. just throwing a logical piece of information out there to consider.
