I want to buy about 300lbs of sand and these are the two choices i would like to get,

Where can i pick this up at a good price.
Also which of the two sand selection would you ppl recommend

You tryin to make it a functioning DSB? I'm not so up on DSB but I know they like to do them in layers. So layers larger than others. Also, that sand is not recommended by caribsea for DSBs

So how deep will you suggest i should go Jim. I saw at GA they had those garden eels and must have a rather dsb, i was thinking of adding a bunch of those, will they keep the sand pretty stirred up. i also know there not the easiest fish to keep

Garden eel will keep them stirred up but keeping garden eel may be difficult especially if you have SPS. Engineering gobies may be better option if your goal is to stir the sand bed. But wait, for fully functional DSB you are not supposed to stir the bottom part or else the DSB will work like SSB. If your main goal is to keep garden eel, good luck and keep us posted.
