What kind of Ricordia is this? Never seen one this color before (day-glo yellow/green with some orange).
Sorry for the algae on the glass. Mr. Snail still has work to do. :)

It's definately bleached, in about a month or so you will see what color it really is. It looks like a Fla. to me, but the pic is'nt clear enough for my eyes. Yuma's have the bumps going all the way up to the mouth and a lot of times the have a pattern to the sizes of the bumps where Fla's are usually a uniform set of bumps.

If it is a Yuma, reintroduce it to the light SLOWLY! A sudden blast of light can cause it to shrink up and melt. Find a spot with indirect light and put it there for a week and each following week move into more light.

If it's a Fla., it can take a sudden change of light faster.

This is only my 2nd Ric so what color do you think it will turn out to be? I have it on the bottom of the tank in the corner under the edge of the actinics and away from the MH. How long should it stay in low light? Should I feed it?

Purple and Green maybe? Where was it when it bleached? I would put it in indirect light for a week. Then move it a little at a time into more light. I would keep it at the bottom of the tank until it fully regains color. I also have found that stressed Yuma's will detach from their substrate, so be easy on the flow. You can feed them, mine readily accepts Mysis and Boyd's Vita Diet pellets.

It was like this when I bought it. I'll give it some TLC and hopefully it will color up again.

That will be real nice just give it some time and take care of it to fix that bad bleaching, I have had just as bad I would say 3 or 4 months it will be sick looking!
