yes that sure looks like cyano..if that is the only place you have it, take the piece out of the tank & rinse it off with tank water til it's gone.
If you have it elsewhere in the tank you want to suck it out of there with a turkey baster & improve your water quality.

thanks for the help. what else can i do besides wash it off?? i mean the rest of the zoas inside my tank are perfectly fine. Should i increase more water flow?? i dont see cyano anywhere else inside the tank besides that zoas.

Increase flow run carbon and rinse them off with tank water outside of the tank. What are your phosphate readings? Alk, Mg and Cal too?

it isnt cyano, they are dying you can try metaflix i think it is called. thats a bacteria and it will disolve the polyps, been there already and lost about a 1000 polyps. you can pull piece's out and wipe them down with a soft cloth {wet }

It is cyano, i had it on a few of my Zoas and i had to remove them and gently remove it. If you dont remove it your zoas might be RIP if it doesnt remove itself in a short period of time. NO need for any medication just increase your water flow and check your nitrate level. BTW did you upgrade your lighting system recently or changed bulbs?

no i didnt upgrade any lighting. the bulbs is about 7 month old. i just added more flow so hopefully its the cyano will just go away. but the thing i am confuse is WHY only in that zoas and theres no other cyano anywhere inside the tank.

It is cyano & the advice is correct above. Pick it up & rinse it off or put it in front of a power-head.

Check for dead-spots where there is no flow in the tank & water quality.

Is this a newly added piece?

give it a good cleaning with tank water in a small bucket.once the cyano is gone,give the frag a dip in lugols (follow directions for dip) this is like an antiseptic cleansing which should help with any parasites and bacteria, just in case. then give it a few days in a quarantine tank. it should come back and start growing. Good luck.

No need for a quarantine that is going overboard its not that serious.
