I have just been offered a ac jr @ a good price.. but I wanted to know if I should get it..

If anyone here has one that they can share your opinion on it would really appreciate it...

It's an affordable aquarium controller for your lights, heater, fan/chiller, ph controller, pumps, powerheads/wavemaker.

is it a reliable controller compared to others?.. when i was looking it up.. for instance the reefkeeper 2 compared to this one a website said it only differed in apperance.. but does it do everything the same..

A pain to set up

I have the Ac JR and I am happy with it I do know a few non computer literate people who have trouble setting it up. The unit is a bit outdated technology wise being a serial device. Its hard to find a computer with this type of interface today and the documentation is not user friendly at all. I am a software engineer and had to rely on Reef Central forum to fill in the gaps on the documentation. You should like it but expect bumps in the road to proper setup.
