Hey guys, I really want to buy this MH light but I really don't want to invest in a chiller. I have a 72 gal bowfront and just wanted to get 2 hanging fans. Has anybody with MH maintained temp control by using a fan rather than a chiller? I keep my A/C on all the time between 77-78 f.
Also any experience with this light fixture?
Since I have a bowfront, the dimension on this light will fit. Thanks

sorry, I meant 77-78 F....

77-78 C?!?

i assume you mean 77-78 farenheit. i think you might need to keep your place cooler than that if you don't want to use a chiller.

My wife likes the apt to be pretty warm, I can't keep my temp down w/out a chiller.

My wife keeps our apt around 75-76 and i was having heat issues even with T5s

I have a minute to write more now.. I have a 72 bow also, and was running temps up to 86 last week. I have a 2x175w MH fixture which I was only leaving on for 4 1/2 hours. So I went to Kmart and got two of their $9.99 clip on fans, set them on timers to run with the MH's, and now my temp is steady at 79-80, just where I want it to be. Might not look the best, but it works for my livestock and that's all that counts.

I purchased a temperature controller on ebay which will take the place of the timers for my fans, and will also have the heater hooked to it to keep my temp contant. Can't wait to get it!
