if you pee all over the yard it will mark the territory and should keep them out, probably cat's in heat and marking a fresh yard. also a nice spray with a garden hose work's most of the time

kill kill kill I really hate cats I wish i was joking also. But hey I have no cat problem. Plus i use to kill people for a living so a cat thats pissing me off is no big deal. Plus maybe you can sell the meet to your local asian food mart. ( my wife loves when i say stuff like that)

Cats dont like sudden, loud noises. It scares the crap out of them. Grab yourself a couple of pots or items that will make a loud noise when you bang them. Sneak up on the cats and startle the hell out of them. Do this a couple of times and they will think twice before chillin' in your back yard.

It worked for me with a cat that loved to catch birds and eat them in my backyard. I also did it with a different cat that loved to meow in the bushes in the front of my house.

No one was hurt. But if worse comes to worse I would get a sling shot and practice my marksmanship. I dont like :catsmileys too much myself.

Cats hate Rue and anything that has a citrus undertone like lemon basil. If you don't want to plant anything, you could cut up some lemons and put them in the offending areas for a while.

Don't waster your money on that stuff it will eventually fade and your problem will return ... Try what leslie suggested or buy some concentrated lemon or orange juice and spray, cost less. I know that getting a dog is not the solution for your problem because you are then adding another responsibility but I would consider Talking to a friend that may have one and suggesting to spend some time with it.

As a Reefkeeper, dog, cat owner and an Nra member I have absolutely No comment on the people suggesting we kill or hurt cats..... Except THIS

I am a bit shocked to see some of the responses here, but honestly not at all surprised. :splitspin Many people don't like cats, but c'mon now it is still a living thing why be cruel about it? I'm sure your s*%t stinks too but your wife doesn't shoot you with a BB gun does she?

It's okay though all you cruelty lovers are not alone some guy came into Lowe's on Saturday and bought an arsenal of rat traps to put in his bushes for cats. If that doesn't take the cake on cruel, I don't know what does.

A living creature is a living creature is a living creature. The roaming cats in the neighborhood aren't there by choice, they are there because of people.(that dump them, don't alter them and then dump them etc.) :irked:

:backtotop Sorry about that... just couldn't let this one go.

that statement is disturbing on many levels.
this thread has sunk to a new low even for the nudibar, sad.

I hope all the animal haters can get the help they need.
