Anyone want to go collecting??

Anyone want to go collecting with me? I plain on getting out hopefully tomorrow late afternoon and this weekend. If you would like to come just post here or pm me or if u have my number give me a ring. I have been collecting here on the island for about 10 years now and i know where to go for what. Of course we will split what ever we catch. I was down there with some friend today and saw some lookdowns, cobia, pilot fish, spiny box puffers, and a few other fish. Collecting will be in suf long island.

We will prob meet up at oak beach and head to spots from there. Oak beach is near captree state park and Robert Moses beach.

I collected at Oak Beach last year! Lots of seahorses and pipefish. Not many tropicals unfortunately and i went in the end of August as well as towards the end of September. I collected in all the coves there! Fun time! Id like to hook up with you sometime and if enough people turn out a have a seine net as well to use.

It's about time you guys are graduating from amphipods to fish. My wife has a cousin with a house next to the Oak Beach inn. Lots of nice fish and seahorses there.
Great place. Atlantis Aquarium gets their seahorses from there. Have a great time.

Got out for about two hours today with one of my good friends. Caught a little bit of everything. If anyone wants to go with me next time just hit me up here or PM me. Our catch total was:

5 lookdowns
2 seahorses
16 pilot fish
21 baby spiny box puffers
1 xl spiny box puffer
4 goat fish
1 baby eel (looked like a kind of moray)
1 permit
