so now i'm almost 100 percent that the system is hooked up correctly and i put in a brand new membrane yet the TDS for both the clean and waste is still reading the same as the tap water. at this point i have spent 130 on the system, 70 on installation and another 50 on a new mebrane. i dont know what to do anymore. if the system were hooked up properly but the pre-filters 3 months old/defective is there any chance that i would be getting these readings? shouldnt just the membrane be lowering the ppm even if everything else is bad?

so frustrated!

Hay i have the aqua safe ill snap pictures of how its set up tomorrow for you. Something is wrong you shouldn't be getting readings like that.

is it possible that with a low PSI the TDS reading will be high and not optimal?

thats exactly my setup! anyways, my PSI is only 30. i know that means output will be low but can that also cause the filter to not function properly giving a high reading?

finally, in terms of the flush valve, i have an extra valve on the red inline. is this the flushing valve? doesnt this simply increase the flow through the system? why is it even there? should it always be open?
