Advice: MR friends and acquaintances

Just wanted to see how everyone else refers to the site and other members on Manhattan Reefs when explaining to people what this site is. No offense to anyone but you are all collectively known to my non-MR friends as my "fish friends" and MR as "the fish site".

Man I have this doubly bad cause I have in-person friends at my parents local dog park. So I have "Dog Park Peoples" and "Fish boards Peoples". Though all of these groups of people are put in a catch-all group known as my external friends. As my "Internal" or "Core" friends are my college buddies that i've known for over 7 years now.

I had a conversation with my GF a few weeks ago. She asked if I had any friends I had not met on the 'fish site'. I said of course, but at some point the 'fishy friends' became the people I hung out with the most. Now my fish friends have become my paint ball friends and poker buddies :arg:

Surprisingly my girlfriends knows most of yall by names:lol2: xcept for don who's marketing or boat guy...dave is cable guy...jhole is photo guy...josh is josh...jhov is cheesecake factory guy..jim is Grand central guy...phil is Dj guy...noel is shows up late..kathy is works very hard lady....and the list goes on for a while

Ok so the list goes on for a while but at least you're not "fish peoples" cause the first time i told her that she thought you guys were drug buddies and fish was the code word....

It depends on whether or not my friends know the person. If they've never met the person, or only met them once, they're "one of the fish people". It it's someone they've met a bunch of times, they use a real name.
