Damn this guy is greeeedyy!! Was the new episode, first he catchs an 8 ft boa constrictor; eats it, and then the follow night he jabs his torch into a cute arse marsupial trying to eat it!! poor things fur was on fire and ran away!!

ended up settling on a big spider...haha..this show is nuts

His crew gets to go back to the hotel at night. There's even an instance where it shows he stayed the night but actually went back to the hotel.

And he did fall off a mountain already, sometime last month I think. Only some broken bones though. non-life threatening injuries.

this show was an imitation of survivorman, in which les straud gets dropped off in different locations around the world, and has to survive with the minimum of supplies for a week, until he meets up with his producers. how this show has lasted even though it was an imitation, and the host is much more of a punk (camera crew and hotels) than the original is beyond me.

Bear Grylles and Les Stroud are two men's men. Totally different shows though.

Les carries his own camera equipment and has to survive a week where they drop him off. He doesn't try to get out of the dropoff zone for rescue. He does have to travel to find food, water and shelter though.

Bear has to find his way out of the environment he's dropped in. He does get a camera crew and also some help from the native people, sometimes.

Bear is one crazy mofo though. I've seen him take elephant dung and squeeze the 'liquid' out of it into his mouth for 'water'. Thought I was gonna puke on that one. I've also seen him in the desert and pee on his own t-shirt and wrap it around his head and face to keep himself cool.

Bear is the crazier of the two IMO. He eats the most disgusting stuff I've ever seen. He does do some great climbs. And in some episodes he gets in the buff and jumps into a frozen Siberian lake. Just crazy $hit. He's commando trained from the UK.

les stroud always looks soo hungry and pathetic on the show. Bear is eating big arse salmon while less is eating tiny chipmunks. The best was when bear once used a throwing stick and actually killed a rabbit with a throw. Mean while i dont think ive evcer seen les stroud eating anything bigger than a rat or squirrel...
