But there were people standing on the wings.
Crashed right after take off.

The images are insane. When you hear plane crash you don't think a plane floating in the Hudson. The surface water temps are just below 40 degrees and it looks like everyone is standing on the wing with their knees submerged. I'm sure hypothermia is an issue....obviously.

Thank god noone died. Hopefully nothing will happen as far as hypo and injuries.

Nobody seriously hurt, that's amazing. I am in Jersey City and we saw this happen from about 60 blocks away. The images of passengers standing on the wings is incredible. Every news station is stating no serious injuries but every passenger is being offered care.

I think the pilot did an amazing job in softly landing the plan in the hudson.

The current also pulled the plane all the way in front of the world financial center. Good thing they got the passengers off the plane quickly. The current could have really hurt rescue efforts.
