I completely agree with your statement.

I for one do not think it was handled well by the seller. If he had an idea who it was he should have handled it in private.

Regardless it was not "drama" to all the sellers friends when he made this accusation.

Bottom line. The guy stared a thread about someone STEALING from him, and fed into all the people that posted, and then decided to punk out and close the thread.
I think if he just apologized for the confusion this would not be an issue.
It just makes more sense that it was a busy confusing time for the store, and somebody missed something.
I mean a guy steals a feather duster????
