ny almost funny ya post this, i tell my daughter all the time slow down, she fell at pre-school, not that she got a fork in her nose, but does have a mark clear across her nose and cheeks from falling face first into a bench , and 2 black eyes forming

but think about how many times have heard it or said it to my kids
I showed to my 9 year old and his reply nice photoshop job!

wasnt meaning it was funny, but funny that ya posted it and my daughter just got damaged from running and i always tell her no running before ya fall and get hurt

Sent shivers down my spine just looking at!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I spent a few hours in ER with 1 of my grands on Monday. Got a call from school, she and a little boy collided while running in the yard and she was injured. The boys tooth penetrated her eyelid just below the eyebrow just above her eye. And the little boys tooth was almost knocked out. So he also had to go to the doctors.
At the ER they cleaned & glued the laceration and put her on antibiotics. I had to take her to her pediatrician yesterday cause it got infected any way. So more and stronger antibiotics were ordered..;(

Awilda, sorry to hear about the lil' one.
I showed my lil' man this before he "ran" off to school this morning... response I got "That kid is smaller than I am, I don't trip with things in my hand".. Typical not going to be me senario. It then went into a drawn out lesson on how the least expected things do actually happen when we least expect them. Example given was an accident I had some years ago which scars still remain from (so it is a tangible thing left to explain with)... he nodded and we talked for a while about other senarios that have happened that we didn't plan on and didn't think would happen. From the cat getting out the other night... to the PS2 breaking. lol
