HELP: Calcium and Alkalinity

How do I balance these two out ? right now my Alk is high , so how do I lower it ? This one might sound crazy (LOL) Im not sure if Im testing the Calcium correctly and if I am Im not sure of the results ? Using the Salifert test kit ... Thanks for any info ...

results might not be correct and are you dosing anything ? if so stop and do a wc and see where you are from there

I was dosing alk and cal but I stopped until I find out whats going on ...
