tenecore tanks usually use the minimal acrylic requirements for holding water. Do you notice any bowing on the front panel? Is the leak on the bottom, near the top, or at a seem?
To do it right you need to empty the aquarium buff out scratches and patch any areas. It's not a fun thing to do and is time consuming hard work. Unless you're doing it yourself it can almost cost as much as getting a new aquarium.

+1
dre, very very time consuming to do all the work you mention, especially since you're looking to get someone else to do it. I have an acrylic scratch repair kit if you want to attempt this job yourself. The acrylic solvent you're looking for is called Weldon. I would probably use Weldon #16.

if you have no experience with acrylic I would not recommend attempting this fix!
where is the leak? is the seam seperating? was the tank damaged?
weldon 16 will not yield an invisible repair as it dries it tends to shrink and cause air bubbles in the repair
again depending on leak I would probably suggest weld on 40 which is a 2 part. Works sort of like epoxy, it will fill in gaps and weld it's self to the repair.

as far as buffing the tank you can use novus starting with #3 for heavy scratches right down to # 1 lots of elbow grease needed
