won 12 corals from this guy wants to charge me 75.00 dollars to ship from maryland to new your will not resond to my email so my poll is do you think it fair?
i have order over 1000.00 dollars with this guy in the past were is the love:inlove:

yeah thats how they try to catch ya, they give you a cheap price for something and then they charge you an arm and leg for the shipping.

A hundred dollar order isnt much, ive dealt with them before, call them he is a actual store up there and a vendor on nj site

Was the shipping listed before you won the auction? If so, it's full disclosure, thereby...fair.

You probably should have asked before hand, about the shipping, if you won multiple auctions. Most vendors use a sliding scale on shipping, based on how many corals you win, regardless of the size or weight of the package and where it's going to.

I think he may have a phone number where you can contact him. Explain the situation, you may even want to ship it ground as you're close enough so that you'll get it the next day, similar to Dr. Mac.

What was stated in the auction? A lot of places on ebay say $50 or $55 for shipping for 1 item and then charge a few $$ more for another piece. That does seem high to me though for Maryland to New York.

i dont care about paying 50.00 for it just seem like he didnt get what he want on ebay so he trying to majke it up on shipping 75.00 is way high just went to ups is 38.00 to overnight 12 pounds to me

If he is charging every auction a standard shipping charge, then he's not making up for what he didn't get in the auction. He doesn't know what the auction may end at, as some end low while others end high.

It's common that most vendor charge a standard shipping rate regardless of where you're located, though some do change it based on the location, east vs west. At this point th best thing to do is contact him and work out the shipping rate.

Ty marrone, was getting ready to copy and paste it as well, and alot of places still charge 55 plus box fee and 2-5 each additional piece there after. And knowing the prices his stuff goes for your getting a few hundred dollars or corals for next to nothing

I think his shipping prices are very good, even better if you're getting some rare corals cheap. The problem is when you start to add on corals. At $5 a coral it's not much but win 5 -10 auctions, the you're adding between $25-$50 more in shipping on.
