if someone was to look at the video Brian from OGII posted on youtube, you will see that this deep water chromi is COMP different from a yellow tail.

Not to be confused with the Yellow Tail Damsel (Chrysiptera parasema), Chromis flavicauda is rarely seen in the trade. This is primarily due to its limited range (Brasil and Bermuda) and the depth that it’s found 50m+. It is commonly called the Cobalt Chromis or the Flashing Chromis for its ability to flash various intensities of blue. These have been selling ~$200USD, financially separating them quite far away from the hobby staple Chromis viridis. [See more on oddball Chromis species like recently discovered Chromis abyssus].
