if Lance doesn't find it this year, he will crush him next year. I dont think it has anything to do with his ability - it's all politics - contador rode his ass off for lance in years past - IMO he is paying it forward for the sake of the team. Game facec in cycling is sometimes everything - for years, Jan Ulrich rode with his mouth gaping leaving the peleton thingking he was suffering then he threw down the hammer and rode away from everyone (except lance).

We'll see how it all finally unfolds. I bet Lance is the bridesmaid this year - and it is HIS choice for the team, not Contador's ability to outride him

nice! i used to love my old RS Mag21's. Too bad the seals finally blew... If you still ride there is an open local race at Walnut Mtn in Liberty, NY coming up in a month or so...

I have a trek 2100z road bike. I love it. Won't ride anything but a trek and one day I'll spend a few thousand for the Madone.

Anyone out there who rides should look into the MS bike ride the first weekend of October. I am doing it for the 2nd time. You can ride through Manhattan traffic free (on the FDR and the west side highway) for 30 miles. It's a very scenic ride with very few hills. You start out by the intrepid, ride to battery park and onto the FDR up to columbia and then back down the west side to the intrepid.

They also offer a 60 mile ride in which you can ride through the Lincoln tunnel (did this last year) and you will meet some very challenging hills in the Palisades of New Jersey.

For experienced riders they offer a 100 mile ride which continues through New Jersey. Whether you do the 60 or 100, you ride back into Manhattan via the GWB.

All rides start and end right by the intrepid. The entry fee is small, like $40 and you are required to raise $100 for the MS society. That's not a lot of money to raise and it goes to a good cause.

I used to keep a set of seals, oil and an air pump in my repair box - got used to fixing it often used to blow the seals everyseason. Love the RS
