beautiful aquarium..I had a breeding pair of humbugs and they made that same clicking noise. The female would lay her eggs right on the front or side glass and I could hear them when I was close to it.

another researcher i am in contact with thinks they might be defending eggs there, but I think its justtheir territory. how obvious do you think the eggs would be (size colour). I can ask oneof the4 aquarists to have a look when they are in the water.

I posted pics up on Reef Central last January, but unfortunately I deleted them. The eggs look very simular in size and color to snail eggs except that sway in the current affixed to whatever substrate they are attached to. They were randomly spread over a small area and not in rows like snail's eggs. Also Mom will not be far away aggresively defending them.
