Decalcifying my Skimmer Pump

What is the recommendation to decalcify my impeller and bearings inside my RD pumps? Hydrochloric acid is highly advised against, what is safe to use?

Vinegar

White Vinegar.

Soak and run the pump in a bucket with this in it. Then soak and run in regular water to rinse for a few buckets.

muratic acid. use 1 ounce per gallon of water and let it run for about 20 minutes.

Not sure, but it states in bold in the Bubble King Guide, DO NOT USE HYDROCHLORIC ACID, EVEN IF DILUTED IT WILL DAMAGE THE RED DRAGON PUMP...
