Hi yall. I havent been on here in awhile. I have a question. I have a 24g nano tank with 2 seahorses in it. I ordered the seahorses from saltwater.com. The first shipment 1 died 1 survive. The second order the same thing . So my question is, do anybody know where is a local pet store that sell seahorses or a good website to buy from?

It is a hit or miss at the any of the LFS. Give your LFS or try the LFS on MR a call and ask when their next shipment of seahorse will be. Good luck!

Just Thursday, I saw two very beautiful females...one very yellow and one very orange...at the Greenwich Aquaria. Both are taking frozen food very well and appear to be in perfect health. Costly I'm sure, but if you're just keeping a few, one of those would be a good option.

dont buy wild seahorse's, too much risk for disease. go to seahorse.org they will be able to better direct you in getting healthy species and the knowledge to go with them, picked up my pair from them at macna, tank bred and raised
