Baseball on TBS

Did anyone notice on TBS HD that it froze up every other minute?I got frustrated and changed it to standard TBS.

I was doing a job last night in NYC and they had time warner and it was hanging regularly (was watching out of the corner of my eye)

Thank you Jim.Calling them will result in a endless procedure where They will make you boot the box and talk to you like an idiot.I know it's not the box,I booted it myself and it's on their end.Same thing with FOX and NBC too.No picture but with sound.

From what I here, Time Warner in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens had an issue. No issues from me on Staten Island. Watched the whole game without it freezing once.

Time Warner just called me and admit the problem and says it's a streaming problem.They're working on it.

check the connections to the cable box. sometimes there can be a little corrosion around the coax endpoints.

+1 Have you noticed how friggin inaccurate it is? Its comical sometimes where they place the ball on that grid versus where it actually was. :lol2:

i agree dombrowski. its throwing people off seeing the yankees get all upset at some of the pitches and the announcers arent even saying anything. i think it had to do with maur being so tall that it through the umps off. well at least the alcs goes back to prime time i believe. so no more horrible throwback suits and snoring during the announcers. lol. now we have to deal with joe buck or mcarver. both anti yankee fans. lol

I found it comical how one pitch would be at the belt but would be projected on the top of the "strike" zone and the next pitch would be at the head, and the ball would be in the same spot as the pitch before.

The NLCS is still on TBS but the ALCS is on fox. Good for the eyes, bad for the ears. Back in the day I used to keep the tv on mute and listen to Sterling and Kay, but I can't do that now with Susan Waldman. I'd rather lsten to nails on a chalkboard.
