40 gallon breeder with sps up high and midway zoas and lps mid to bottom.
trying to gauge just how the force really is. I have my maxi mod about 4 inches from the water surface blowing off set of the sps. The sps seem to really like the force current, the polyp extension is great. Don't need the mp but I like the smaller foot print. The maxi mod is mounted to a mag float so it sticks out off the wall like 5 inches, just seems out of place being so big.
I also like the fact, if the time comes I can take the mp20 and get the 40 driver for it and place it in a bigger tank.
I have read conflicting reviews about the mp 10. Some reviews state good wide flow, but lacks power even ramped up???? Don?t know never had my hand in front of one.
The other plus side to the mp 20 I can dial that down to a good force flow rate.
I think I?m more confused with the mp series.
Example, can I take to mp 10 and place them on the back of the tank and have them blow front. Or One on the side and have it on wave mode or pulse?
I know its more of a matter of preference, and the only difference between all three are the top GPH and linking ability. looking to make the right purchase for the tank.
