Want to confirm that the network is down.I'm getting error code (8001050F).Sony is saying,they are looking into to it,in the meantime,I don't play on line and still got the message.They better fix it.I have the old Japanese 20gb model.Thin models are not affected.

Yea I got that message also and the reason you are getting it without being online is due to the trophies for the game you are trying to play. I called them and talked to them about it. It started last night around 9pm

Fixed mine. Disassembled entire unit and disconnected CMOS battery for 10 minutes to clear out internal clock. Reassembled PS3, and powered up and prompt me for time and date... and continued to log into PSN. Of course this voids your warranty, mine's already voided since I cracked it open to replace power supply. I'm just impatient and need my MW2 fix...
