im hopeing to get one from some1 thats been eating it already for some reason the couples ive gotten wont touch it ...go figure lol but i love pets ware house theyre awesome

Algae

Hi Sean

If it looks like the algae below you will have to take another approach than the sea hare.

If it is bryopsis I know the Lettuce nudi's will eat it and some people have had luck by raising their magnesium

the ferric oxide is helping alot and i still have the sea hare i got afew trips ago he must be eating it bc he is alive. im pretty sure its gha.i do love the sea hares :) ive seen afew of them chomp on it but for 1 reason or another they dont last.the balloon belly mollies are eating it but they eat very little of it. Seahares prefer macro algae IME. I wouldn't recommend trying them for hair algae despite many of the reports you'll find claiming they eat HA. I've had Lettuce Nudi's too that didn't touch Bryopsis. I would only take a shot at these animals if you are willing to feed them macro algae or quickly find them a proper home (which is not easy).
