Best way to catch some fish?

I have 2 clowns in my main tank that I want to another tank. Whats the way to get them out? Any ideas?

Clowns are pretty easy to net out at night when they are sleeping/resting. For most other fish, I would also use a fish trap.

Careful with nets. Maroons in particular have cheek spines that could get caught in the netting.

starve your fish for about 3 days. then when you feed them have a big net and come from the bottom and use a food that you can hold in your hand at the top.... or ghetto up a fish trap from a 2 liter coke bottle and use that

dont feed them for two days , while keeping a large net at the surface so they get used to it the put in some food .

+1 Catch them off guard a few hours after the lights go out. I also find if you keep the net in the water for a day or two they are less frightened by it and makes catching them easier. Good luck
